National Theatre of Scotland
Founded in 2006 the National Theatre of Scotland has swiftly established itself as one of the world's most exciting theatre companies.
From our base here in Glasgow the company has created over 250 productions in over 200 different locations and have performed to nearly 1 million people across four continents. The National Theatre of Scotland has a permanent core staff of 50 but also annually employs around 700 writers, actors, technicians and directors making a significant contribution to Glasgow's economy as well as its cultural landscape.
The company regularly performs in all of Glasgow's theatre venues as well as in site-specific locations including tower blocks, office blocks, railway stations, and in community halls and schools.
In 2016 we will be celebrating our 10th birthday and opening the doors to Rockvilla - our first purpose built facility and a new engine room for Scottish theatre that will play a key role in the regeneration of North Glasgow.
